I really think that there should be a link from the "Getting Started" section to that article. Although I would have probably still ignored it, being far too smart to take that advice, maybe somone dumber (smarter) will actually "get" that you build up to the full boat.
I also agree (and there was a thread about this) that scaling to size, weight, age so that your time is in the same universe as the best gives you more of the CF "total experience" then doing the full weight but losing the metabolic part. Obviously if your beating Matt G. you went too far, but if he did it in 5 and you did it in 25, you're missing the point IMO.
