I just started the WOD about 2 weeks ago and want to comment that I am pleasantly pleased. I have always worked out, and most recently had been doing so KB, Olympic and functional core work. Crossfit covers it all. I have to admit that I am sucking some serious wind, but love every minute of it. I am 53 years old and feel like I have discovered the Holy Grail of training. My golf game has improved over the past year due to doing more one piece body and functional training. Crossfit is stepping it up another notch. Many guys my age are slowing down and don't drive the golf ball as far as they used to, while I keep getting longer and drive the ball past the college kids and twenty somethings. This is a great site and thanks for all the information.

Thanks. Pretty funny, my son drives to a fancy gym 20 minutes away and comes home about 2 hours later everynight. I go in the basement and work 10 times more intensely and am finished in 20 minutes. He thinks my workouts are crazy. I can't deny it. Ha.

Keep it up Michael, at 42 I'm more fit than most of the younger guys I work with! Soon your son will be asking you how to do that WOD thing.
