Re: Travis_r

So I missed posting for a few days, here's the catch up

6x2x155

Press
2x5x45
1x5x115 (was suppose to be 3x5x115)
2x3x115

BS
2x5x45
2x5x240 (3x5x240)
1x4x240

3 min LCCJ with a real 16 kg kettlebell!!

Re: Travis_r

7/28/08
Back in the garage gym
HS 1:23 (Goal was 1:25)

HPC
2x5x45
6x2x160

BS
2x5x45
3x3x245

Tried for the 45 Thrusters with 50% BW. Achieved (drum roll) . . . . . 12!
I don't know what the hell happened but the strength just wasn't there. I'm going to have to try a Fran soon to see if I've actually gotten worse at thrusters or if I was just weak from the BSs and HPCs.

Re: Travis_r

7/29/08
Rested. The previous 4 days I was traveling, not sleeping and eating crap. The body just wasn't feeling a workout.

7/30/08
Yesterday's rest was an excellent idea. I felt great during today's workout.

HS 1:25 - Still supporting myself with the wall, but I was about two feet away from the wall rather than one. Allow my legs to bend some actually made the HS more comfortable.

PC
2x5x45
1x165 / 180
6x1x185 - This is definitely the strongest I've ever felt at the PC. I've only PC'd 185 one other time and today I did it 6 times in a row and I know I could have handled more.

FS
2x5x45
5x2x185

Halting DL (Pulled from ground to knee hight)
1x5x45
3x3x305

Weighted PU
1x5xBW
3x5x40

Re: Travis_r

FL
2x14 sec, 1x9 sec (this is getting hard very fast)

P-Sn
2x5x45
8x1x95

Press
2x5x45
3x3x120

BS
Warmup with broomstick
7x1x255 (I think tomorrow I might have to get a PR, 270 maybe?)

4 min LCCJ, 30# dumbbell
L39/R39

Re: Travis_r

1 mile run for time - 6:09!
Did not know that I was that fast. That takes care of the mile run for level II.

4x 100m sprint, 100m walk.

Re: Travis_r

8/4/08
HS 1:30

HPC
2x5x45
5x 95 / 115 / 135 / 145 / 160

BS
2x5x45
3x 185 / 225 / 235 / 255 / F260

WOD
50% Cindy
10 rnds + 5 pu + 8 pu (a little worse than last time, I'm going to blame this on the sprints from this weekend hurting my legs more than I expected.)

Re: Travis_r

FL 2x15 sec

RJ
2x5x45
2x 95 / 115 / 135 / 155 / 165
Up until today I had been doing sets of 5. I failed to recognize that this is a dynamic exercise and should be rationed as such.

OHS
2x5x45
5x 65 / 85 / 95 / 105 / 4x115

WOD
3 rnds for time:
10 50# dumbbell snatches, right hand
10 50# dumbbell snatches, left hand
10 50# dumbbell swings
10 burpees

Time - 7:35

BRUTAL, almost a Fran level of hurt.

Re: Travis_r

Decided to progress from full tuck to half tuck front levers.
FL 2x5 sec

Press
2x5x45
1x 65 / 85 / 95 / 105 / 120 / 140 PR!
I'd been stuck at 135 for months. It felt good to finally break through the plateau.
