Tingling in Neck during presses

I have a history of neck injuries from years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I had an MRI back in 2001 and was diagnosed with 3 bulging discs (C4,C5,C6.) I haven't had an MRI since, but my neck has never really healed (tried A.R.T., PT, massage, and chiropractic.)

Presses have often triggered my neck injury, so today I decided to go super light (45# 3x15) and while I did not feel any pain, my neck felt a tingling sensation each time that I lowered the bar. It almost felt like an electric shock.

Has anyone had this before? Going to visit an Orthopedic next week, but I figured I'd check here to see if anyone has experienced anything similar.

Re: Tingling in Neck during presses

sounds like nerve root being irritated by them discs, should lay off if symptomatic.
