My shop gym

Finally got my gym out of my garage and into my shop building behind my house. Got alot more work to do and things to build but now at least its functional. Need to build a heavy shelf and get alot of this stuff of the ground. I also need to build some heavy framing up high and get my rings hung. But I am making progress.

Some more pictures. I have infrared heaters on a timer and a thermostat to come on in the morning automatically. Love that.

Re: My shop gym

Two squat racks and two lifting platforms huh? VERY nice! I'm not sure what's next to that treadmill, is it a GHD/Roman Chair? Are those sandbags in the back by the plyo boxes?

Looks great! All you need now is a C2!

No its an adjustable bench, need to build or buy a GHD and keep looking for a deal on a rower. Can't afford a new one yet. I have a couple of guys that come and work out, nice to be able to have two different wieghts out on each platform. Ya and those are sandbags.

Yeah I got both my GHD and Rower on CL. Just took some patience and a LOT of scouring and quick phone calls and emails to beat out other buyers haha.

If you're going to build a GHD, Kempie made a portable one where you attach the foot holds on a wall and use a plyo box with a portable GHD top on it. Here's the link:

I think that's awesome! Either way, good luck with your gym. Looks great! Seeing yours makes me realize how much I need to make a platform haha.

Re: My shop gym

Dude, I have missed so many times on a rower off craigslist. Most of my other equipment came from there but rowers go so freaking fast.

No lies, this guy posted his rower at like 10:40pm at night and I called him at 10:45pm. I didn't even get much of a deal but whatever. It was still cheaper than shipping
