Consecutive muscle up grip question

I'm able to get 20 kipping muscle ups with a short break between each one without any fails. I've been trying to chain multiple together but I always seem to lose my grip when transitioning from the 1st mu to the 2nd mu. I'm taped and chalked up pretty good. Any pointers?

Re: Consecutive muscle up grip question

When I lower from the support, at the bottom of the dip, I regain the false grip.

The False grip is supposed to be a grip used for pulling that is similar to a support grip. So getting a support grip in the bottom of the dip and then slowly lowering into a hand will keep the grip.

I found stricts easier to maintain good grip and more strengthening with just as much full body action. Your choice

Re: Consecutive muscle up grip question

Slide your wrists in the descent to regrip false grip. This should be done during the eccentric of the transition phase.

Yes,it takes practice.
