Problems watching the videos

I had to reinstall Windows and cannot see the CF videos anymore. There's only sound and no videos. I've tried installing the Combined Community Codec Pack and K-Lite but no success. I've done a forums search but haven't found anything that helps or that reveals exactly what codec(s) I need. I cannot for the life of me get the videos to work. Help please?

Re: Problems watching the videos

try reinstalling http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...cdownload.aspxPlease indicate whether or not any links posted are work safe/family friendly

as well have you installed the proper video graphics driver instead of just the stock video driver included in your OS ( which sometimes has limited functions )?

Re: Problems watching the videos

Hi Blair, thanks for trying to help. I do have the latest video graphics driver installed on my laptop. I tried reinstalling the codec package on the link you gave but the videos still don't work. Any other ideas?

Re: Problems watching the videos

Have you tried installing the latest WMP. I think they are up to 11 now.

Re: Problems watching the videos

The videos worked after I installed the codec here http://codecguide.com/windows_media_codecs.htm (WFS) yay!
