IF query

Does a cup of coffee in the morning break the fast?

Coffee does cause an insulin response which I believe is what your trying to aviod/conrtol with IF. I really don't think a cup will hurt you but I guess it is really a matter of how strict you want to be.

Thanks all - I was taking it with milk and splenda but understand why that was wrong now - will go to black. For some reason I found it help take the edge off waiting to eat but that may have just been the creamer and the Splenda doing their thing so it will be interesting to see.
