I know there are a lot of ruggers out there. Who've you picked to win this year?
I want Scotland to win it but know it will never happen.
The All Blacks look strong but I'm going out on a limb and picking France.

That rocks, he said grinning while desperately trying to keep the green monster of jealousy at bay.

I'm still trying to find a bar in Bermuda that will even be showing the games.
I've not been to the French locations but saw Wales/New Zealand in Cardiff and Wales/Scotland at Murrayfield and know you will have a great time there.

You lucky, lucky b******.

Its not so much luck as willingness to work hard and save the money required. And having enough freedom with my work situation to be able to take a few months off.

As far as finding how to watch the games in Bermuda, I had no luck. Setanta has exclusive NA rights, and also has the rights to Bermuda, but not sure how that works out.

venues@setanta.com email to setanta, you can ask about coverage.

safe link about tv coverage in North America, including Bermuda.

"In addition, fans in Bermuda, the Caribbean and the Republic of Ireland will also be able to tune in to the World Cup on a non-exclusive basis."

I have no idea what that means.

Oh, and also: I would love to see France make it to the final. The atmosphere in Australia for the final in 2003 was unbelievable. The home country making it that far seems to really add to the excitement.

Gallery from the last trip.

I know about making it happen for sure.
I'll get there one day but the wee man is going to have to be a little bit older.
That's part of the reason I'd like France to get to the final and win too - the atmosphere would be incredible. I've also found them consistently entertaining and want a Northern Hemisphere team to win it.
Setanta brings us Six Nations coverage but from what the bars are saying the package for the World Cup is pretty pricey and they are trying to see how they can make it worthwhile.
I'm sure my club will drink enough to offset the costs and we are trying to get our local to confirm they'll show the matches.
I'll check out your photos when I get home tonight. A friend of mine went to OZ for the tournament too and said it was fantastic.

The USA.. lol!! Seriously though New Zealand is so strong, it'll take a lot to make it two northern hemisphere wins in a row....can't wait!!
