Minimalist shoe help- New Balance MT20 minimus 20

So I decided to final try out a pair of minimalist shoes and decided to go with the New Balance MT20 minimus 20's. Since I couldn't find them locally to try on I had to order them online and just received them yesterday. I am wondering about the fit, since this is my first pair. Now obviously they aren't meant to be warn with socks, but how tight are they suppose to fit (without socks). I normally wear a size 11 in ascis, new balance, saucony, nike, etc. so I went with a size 11 and they are pretty snug (I have a tiny bit of room at the toe)? Would you say this is about right? I'm guessing I don't want them too loose. How much do they typically break in?

Mine were a little snug in the toe (big toe) and was worried they might be too small, but after wearing them once they broke-in just a little and fit perfect now. That's been my experience anyway. I wear a 10.5 shoe normally and went with 10.5 in these.

I have the MT10s and not the MT20s but mine were a little tight at first and I thought maybe I should have gone a size bigger after after a week or two of wearing them they became perfect. I don't want to wear anything other than my minimus now!

My MT10s loosened up quite a bit as well, especially across the midfoot. As long as you have a little toe room you should be fine.

Sorry, mine are MT10's as well! I need to learn to slow down and read.

I got my MT20 at regular size. They are a comfortable snug fit. I do wear a thin sock with them.

They're essentially the same thing, only the 20 is a cosmetically updated version of the 10. So my guess is the 20 would stretch out a bit just like the 10 does.

I wear the MT10's. If I'm inside where it's warm: no socks. For outdoor work when it gets cold a thin wool running sock is perfect.
