There are two programs by the same company on there. A "Round timer" for boxing, and an "Interval timer" for interval training.

While the "interval timer" is designed exactly for things like tabata intervals. I went with the "round timer" and am happy with that choice. The round timer has a "warning bell" that the interval timer doesn't have. I like that.

Edit:
I'm posting this in this thread because I really like your tabata timer, but I've spent a bunch of time trying to figure out how to run it on my iPhone. I love the phone, but I hate how they walled themselves in regarding applications.

Sorry but the Timer is right now not developed for the iPhone ;-)

In Sept I get my iPhone and i'll start developing my timer so lets see what happens

Re: Tabata Timer

The name of the app is RoundTimer. He didn't do such a great job hiding the "product". Very funny! The other one is Interval Timer.
I just got an e-mail from Hans who developed the Tabata Clock and he seems to be working on the app for the IPods and IPhones. I think he has the CrossFit needs in mind with his app developing skills.
Thanks again Hans!

I do too. In fact, I even made my own Tabata Timer (work and family safe) using Flash. You can use it right online without having to download it. It also supports Tabata This workouts.

I've also posted tabata MP3s there for iPods.

Re: Tabata Timer

Hey there,

I updated my Tabata-Clock. It now supports supersets. Just type in the Work in sec field some more sec's separated with semicolon (20;20;29) and the clock will use them as supersets, divided by 5 secs for changing exervice.

It also supports a rest-warning. By typing in two sec's like 15;5 you'll get 20 sec of rest and after the first 15 secs you'll get a warning sound and after that you have 5 secs rest left ;-)

Best

Hans

I have had one for a while and it works great for me, but might not for those who need to have loud music to get through their workouts. I especially like to take it on trips so I can get a quick workout in.

Re: Tabata Timer

I downloaded this to my BlackBerry Pearl and it worked perfect. Also comes with a cool Pukie icon. Thanks. Excellent work.
