Iron Woody Bands

I am looking to purchase an Iron Woody band for my dad for father's day. He recently purchased a power rack and can do 4 - 5 unassisted pull-ups.

He wants a band that will provide him with a small level of assistance so that he can do closer to 10.

I am a bit confused when looking at their site.

Can someone provide me with a link to what would be appropriate to order.

I am looking to just order one band, not the whole package that they offer.

Thanks and pardon my ignorance of these products.

Re: Iron Woody Bands

Greg - I looked back through the Iron Woody site and did not see any individual pull-up bands for sale. I have the starter pull-up pack of 3 bands.
It is nice to have the varying sizes depending on the number of pull-ups
I need to crank out. Their site recommends you call to order them anyway because of the quickly changing shipping costs so you could probably get them to give you a price on an individual band.

Great product though. Highly recommend it. Hope this helps.

Re: Iron Woody Bands

How much does your dad weigh ? I have a bunch of those bands. Sometimes I use them for pull up assistance. I weigh about 174. I can do about ten unassisted. Usually I use the red band. If he weighs a lot more I would go to a larger band though. You can buy the bands individually.

Re: Iron Woody Bands

He weighs about 175. I got the pair of small bands. It says they offer 20-55 lbs of assistance/resistance.

Hopefully it works.

Thanks for the responses.
