Squat rack

Anyone know the cheapest place I could get a decent squat rack preferably with self spotting bars in northern california... or just in general?? Thanks!

Re: Squat rack

besides searching craigslist, bradshaw welding outfitted CSUS's weightroom quite nicely.

Re: Squat rack

I bought my powerrack from here (wfs):
http://jesupgym.com/products.htm?cid=13

Scan down to Body Solid Powerline Power Rack PPR200X. I've been very happy with it and they ship fast. It's about $275 delivered.

Re: Squat rack

Wow, that setup is low $. Looks pretty nice-how's it holding up? You can find some neat stuff at Ironmind.com too. I have the Pillars of Power II's and the Vulcan II racks. They're a little bit pricier, but solid, and they store nicely. Here's the link for them. http://www6.mailordercentral.com/iro...ts.asp?dept=16

Re: Squat rack

If that is for me...no complaints. I have to weigh it down to do any kind of kipping on it, but for squats and presses, I love it. It takes down easily (moved once with it) and goes together easily (simple instructions, only two bolt sizes, well thought out).

When I'm a threat to squat 800lbs (not sure what the limit is on this one, probably between 500-1000lbs), I'll gladly consider treating myself to an eliteFTS powerrack.
