Dude Squatting 765 @ Globo Gym

Is this a 3/4 squat? It doesn't look complete from this angle.

I'd say that even calling it 3/4 is generous. That said, the dude is still a beast.

Dude's got 765 on his back, and that's weak? You've got to be kidding me. No, he didn't go ATG, but he got near parallel, and without knowing his goals, training regiment, or competition plans, saying that's weak is pathetic.

Exactly, while it wouldn't pass in a PL meet I didn't see him being driven through the floor, chances are he would have gotten buried had he gone any deeper but he's not more than 15-20# from hitting that weight.

While I wouldn't call him weak, it was not to legal depth, he looked to be wearing a squat suit and knees wraps and it looke dlike the spotters touched the plates.

While impressive, there is too much unknown to get a handle on what exactly was accomplished.

Easy...I'm not calling him weak...I'm calling the squat technique weak...and to be honest I really don't care what you think. I'm not impressed in the least with some guy piling 765 pounds on his back and bending his knees...

Michael, you can dislike his form, but if you deny the fact he is quite strong then you are only demonstrating your own bias and appear jealous.

I do agree the squat is high, but it is still a decent lift in that the guy is pretty strong.
