My left achilles tendon is hurting a little. But it's kinda weird in that it only hurts when I run flat footed. When I run on my toes it doesn't hurt at all. Seems to me that that's backwards. Seems like it would hurt more while under tension, wouldn't it? It's not debilitating or anything, but it's been this way for a week now, and doesn't appear to be getting any better.
Any advice from some of you more educated folks? |

Donald, just a guess, it sounds like you might be tight - any help if you stretch your calves beforehand? Do you notice any difference in ankle flexibility, left to right?

No, it moves around left and right OK, it's just a little annoying. No swelling or anything. I was thinking maybe I over stretched it a bit last week and it's just taking its time getting over it.
No big deal really, something always hurts anyway. (just whining) |
