I found it from 300. I was interested. And now I'm hooked. How you got here doesn't matter, now that you are here, you can check out but you can never leave. :nopity:

I started "exercising" (ie. LSD running) because of the Personal Fitness Boy Scout Merit Badge. Then I decided I liked running, and joined my high school's Cross Country team. This past fall, while on injury leave (shin splints), I saw a video of David Belle practicing Parkour, which led me to (Safe.), then to here. Never got to far on the Parkour stuff though... That'll have to come later.

Huh, now that I think about it, next time they start that merit badge in my troop, I ought to show the instructor this site. That could get interesting.

Ok, just a brief synopsis (for those who don't know what you're talking about) please? How are the two connected?

Matt. For too many reasons...

Here's a hint - look in Pukie's Bucket for the history on Gym Jones and Crossfit. Another (less subtle) hint - gym jones was once an affiliate.

I am still here, and I found this site about 2 months ago, after doing the "300" workout.

I love this place!

I too was intimidated and impressed with the guys from 300. After starting CF I realized I had no idea what being fit meant.
