Its 69F today in Connecticut. That is the perfectly average temperature for the end of May here. To celebrate - 4.0 mile run at lunch! 38:00.

Decided to work some strength/oly type stuff today. Kept it a little lighter than normal in deference to my strained right shoulder. Also, been takng some anti-inflammatories per my doc.

So without further ado:

Split Jerk - establish 4RM, 90% X 4 X 2
warm-up: 45 X 5 X 2, 95 X 3
finding 4RM: 135 X 4 - pretty much took it easy, with the shoulder this was tough.
working: 120 X 4 X 2

Push Press - establish 5RM, 90% X 5 X 2
finding 5RM: 95 X 5, 120 X 5, 135 (f), 125 X 5
working: 110 X 5 X 2

Back Squat - establish 5RM, 90% X 5 X 4
finding 5RM: 135 X 5, 175 X 5, 195 X 5
working: 175 X 5 X 4

Bent Row - establish 5RM, 90% X 5 X 2
finding 5RM: 135 X 5, 155 X 5
working: 135 X 5 X 2

Decline sit-ups - 25 X 3

Well tomorrow is a little more oly lifting in the morning, and hopefully a 5 mile run in the afternoon.
