Talking Started, LOVED IT, Tried something else, FELL APART!

I started doing Crossfit about 18 months ago and WOW, I was amazed at the results. I was the fittest I had been since I left Marine Corps Boot camp at 21, now 37. I took a break over the holidays, heard about P90X and decided it must be the next step for me in my fitness journey. What a load of CRAP! I'm back with Crossfit and I can't wait to get my body and health back where it can, and should, be. Thanks to the creaters or Crossfit!

It seems like a nice program for cutting fat (provided you stick w/ the diet - actually any program will do that lol) but in terms of overall athletic performance, I don't think it will help me to achieve my goals.

no deadlifts. It's inherently flawed.

LOL @ the option " I have incorporated it into my xfit program" seriously?

At my box weve got a big projection tv and we do px90 as a group.

Re: Started, LOVED IT, Tried something else, FELL APART!

P90X - I did it for a while, and as a 46 year old guy it seems hard on the knees (the plyo isn't something I'd want to subject to several times a week over 3 months-I think that would be problematic). Maybe I'd adapt, but it kind of seems like an injury waiting to happen for me. Let's just say I'd have to mod a few of the moves in some of the workouts.
