Hey Andre -

Up here in the NW, w/ WMRRA, OMRRA and FUSA (now WERA). Started racing in 2001 and raced for 3 years straight and then sporidcally in 04 & 05. Full Race season in 2006 and endurance only in 2007.
Just play at track days now.

Is that Road A in your Avatar? I've always wanted to race there! I qualified for the GNF's 2x and never could make it.

Luke

Very cool. It's an awesome but very demanding hobby. I could've carried on for a bit more in '05 but time was the pressing issue, having changed jobs at the end of the '04 season. Got my GNF invite though, which was my goal for '04.

The avatar is from Barber earlier this year. Great track, but 2nd favorite to Road Atlanta... Oh I miss the old T12!

Re: what is your occupation?

One of the strengths of CrossFit is its diversity. For example, when we went to the games we were hanging out on the beach. (our crew from CF New England) We came to the realization that it was amazing that we were a) there and b) such great friends and allies in sport. Why? Where else but CF would you have a doctor, a guy in finance, a contractor, 2 CF coaches/competitors, a marine/CF coach, a construction manager, etc all hanging out on a beach in Monterey Bay...loving life, and taking handstand pictures.

That doesn't really happen anywhere else.
