Cheat day!

Today was nice. Last month's was great! December's was amazing! Do you see a trend here? Slowly but surely I'm becoming crack free! Each month since starting the Zone I have allowed myself one cheat day, on the 25th. After today, I realize how much I enjoy eating strict 4 block meals. Although my bowl of Lucky Charms, Jalapeno Garlic Cheese burger, and the nearly 20 blocks of chocolate I ate today ( to name a few ) were pretty tasty. I just couldn't wait for the day to be over. Good night everyone!

Re: Cheat day!

Oh that's right! Today was your day. Nice going! I wish I had your will power.
I've decided to have one a week. I talked to Eva T and she said one a week for me, especially at my age, is really ok. I figured I might as well enjoy it while I'm young

Sunday's the day ... going out for breakfast at Portage Bay Cafe. Ever been there? yummmm ....

Re: Cheat day!

Nice going Jay! I've got to take advantage of cheat meals while I can too, just like Rachel. I have a big weakness for pancakes/waffles with syrup. I might do a cheat meal once or twice a week. I've never heard of Portage Bay Cafe, but iHop has amazing pancakes

Yes I agree! I'm more of a sucker for chocolate, but anything sweet works for me.

Portage Bay Cafe is an organic cafe that has AMAZING sweet breakfasts, like pancakes, waffles, etc, with a fruit bar where you can dump all sorts of fresh fruit on to the pancakes.
just to torture yourself, check out their menu: (w/f/s)

Re: Cheat day!

I'm putting Portage Bay Cafe on my list for next month, I'm going to the Level 1 Cert @ Ranier CF on March 22, 23, so that should be a good reward for next months cheat day. I'm thinking about toying with my blox though. Maybe uping my blox by one across the board to put on more muscle. Happy Crossfitting!

Re: Cheat day!

Portage Bay is DEFINITELY worth a cheat day. I'm not one who likes to go out to breakfast, but I always jump at the opportunity to go to Portage Bay. I'm assuming you looked at the menu? It's AMAZING ...

I'm there on Sunday -- can't wait!
