my pe class today is doing:
5 wall climbs
10 thrusters: 65 lbs
15 wall kicks---donkey kicks against the wall
20 standing long jumps
25 ball slams
30 sit ups
35 push ups

repeat 3 rounds for time!!!

My highschool pe class never looked like this!!! I grew up in the wrong part of the country.

Thanks, Coach.....wall climbs? performed with a peg board?

One of our clients is going to pay the membership fees for 10 high school students to train at Mt Baker CrossFit, from November till May. Applicants are required to write an essay, defining fitness goals and why they should be selected for this program.

We are really excited about the program.

great job skip. the wall climb is that wall outside my wt. room about 60-70' away...down a set of stairs....the kids have to climb the wall free hand 5 times...each time walking or running down the stairs to repeat the climb.

Amen, Joe! Great stuff Coach B! Man, I am so envious of those who are/were exposed to this stuff at such a young age. It's going to be hard for me not to be the Great Santini of exercise if I ever have kids.

i have 50-55 kids in a class at one time. the class is elective. i have 3 beginning classes and 1 advanced class...1 athelte pe class. the kids in advanced have to have my permission to be in that class. the beginning classes sign up...i have a waiting list to get into the classes. good, hardworking kids!! they like old school!!
