Nutrition Diet, supplements, weightloss, health & longevity

Hey just wanted to get some feedback on the current diet and see if you guys could help out at all with any reccomendations. Here's a very typical day's food:

3 Egg Whites/ 1 Whole Egg scrambled
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Garlic
2-3 Strips Bacon/Pancetta

Big Spinach Salad w/Olive Oil+ Vinegar
8oz salmon or halibut (bonus for living in alaska)
Mixed Steamed Veggies
1 Cup Yogurt w/raisins

8-12oz chicken (skinless breast)
Saute'd mushrooms/garlic/peppers
again olive oil, garlic, etc etc
More spinach salad

Snacks throughout:
raw almonds(maybe a cup per day)
Fat Free Yogurt (2-3 per day)

Fish Oil
Protein Shake(one or two a week)

I'm 5'11" 180lbs right now about 8-9% just trying to get as strong and lean as I can haha That broad enough?

Any advice on the diet? I know I need more calories but I pretty much avoid dairy/processed sugars or flours maybe you guys can help me out with what to use to fill that. Thanks

Besides breakfast your protein is higher than zone parameters, not to say that is a bad thing. Also there are no carbs in your breakfast, maybe a piece of fruit would help. Paleo purists will say absolutely no yogurt. Other than that, Ben, your diet is very solid (I would love to have fresh salmons). My only question is how long you've been doing it? I'd say if you stick to or have stuck to this for a year then you are/will be in great shape.

Solid Ben.

Stick with Lean Proteins, Low Gly. Carbs and Good fats and no sugars and you are all set.

I've been slowly tapering my diet toward this for the last 2 years. I'm a former competitive cyclist who used to consume almost nothing but carbs and fat...then I tried to steer away from that.

The diet has been just like this for about 3 months. And I completely forgot that I normally have a banana and an apple every day. oops haha
