New Crossfitter Here!

Hey All,
I have been doing Crossfit for a little over a month now and I can not get enough of it. I was getting very burned out doing my 3 or 4 day split routines. It was getting very monotonous and I had trouble staying motivated. A guy I work with turned me on to Crossfit and now I am wondering why I ever did anything else.

I feel the same way. I am in the gym less time and I am motivated to go. The best thing, my husband still does the same old routine and he does not have results. I keep going with CF, my motivation is up and I am loving the results!

Re: New Crossfitter Here! OT Michael Keller Poster

Hi Guys,
this is for Michael Keller and is off topic but I have to know where you got that poster that is beneath your name. "Every Day You Don't Work Out". My friend in SF had one and I have been looking for one for about ten years. E-mail privately if you want. campimichael@hotmail.com
thanks
Michael

Re: New Crossfitter Here!

Michael,
I am also new to Crossfit. Do you go to a Crossfit gym or do the WOD's on your own? I am in the same situation and I am not personally getting the results like I see from the Crossfit pictures/websites and from what I read from journals. When you do the WOD, do you do any cardio in addition to that? Thanks, Steve

Start with nutrition. Most of the elite are Zoning with mainly paleo choices.

Scale the WODs at first, learn to do the movements correctly and with impeccable form.

Get to RX'd and go full out.

Results are arbitrary, each person experiences it differently.
