What's up, gang?Still a newbie here, but I'm really loving the Crossift program and the variety of the WOD is always a challenge. One of my favorite WOD is the dumbell quick lift(snatch, swing, etc.)/pull-up combo. These really trash my entire body.Anybody else have a favorite?

Matt,

I enjoy WODs with HSPUs, deadlifts and ring dips - mostly because these lifts come easy to me or they improve easily. I think I can add rowing into that list too. On the downside: any WOD with running and/or pullups after anything aerobic!

Hi Matt,

I'm on the other end of the spectrum from Kelly. She excels at anything bodyweight - and puts the rest of us to shame with her strength to bodyweight ratio when moving iron.

I, on the other, do not do well at anything bodyweight. I am much more comfortable doing anything involving KBs, BBs, or DBs.

I still love the WOD for Sunday 2003/04/27

3 rounds for time, of:
- 400 meter run
- 15 Deadlifts at bodyweight
- 20 Box jumps, to a 24" box

This one absolutely fries the lower body from all possible directions . . . has brought me closer to meeting Pukie than any other WOD.

Well I have a new favorite.Yesterday's 400m/21 swings/12 pull-ups for 3 rounds made me feel like I was hit by a truck.Twice! However, with a time of over 16 minutes, I don't think I have Greg Amundson quivering in his Reeboks.

favorite workout? would still have to be throwing on my bunker gear, scba, and grabbing a charged 1 and 3/4 " line while my partner kicks in the door to a burning residence with smoke coming out of every orifice, banked to the floor with a huge glowing orange ball of fire just for us...crossfit routines have made this even more fun. virtually no suffering the other day. yes, we empathize with the homeowners, but there is still no rush like going after fire.
