Weighted GHD vs KTE

I've been doing weighted GHD situps in my warmup instead of regular.
3x10 just like the rest of the WU only with a 45 lbs plate.

GHD situps are always pretty easy yet KTE are still pretty challenging (lats are getting fried much sooner than abs).

Would it be beneficial to switch situps in favor of KTEs (and eventually HLRs) or is there some negative drawbacks?

May be theres an even better option that I'm unaware of?

Re: Weighted GHD vs KTE

I've been mixing it up and doing GHD's for some rounds and KTE's for others. I also find that KTE's are limited by grip more than abs. Weighted GHD's sound hard, especially with a 45# plate! Are you hyper-extending with the weight or going to just parallel with your torso?

All the way down. Always make sure to contract my quads and kick the heel forward. Had to work up to that weight and have no pain in my lumbar spine area from that what so ever.
