I was thinking about this a little bit, Dave. The first time we had Hill Day we did a lot of external weighted object tasks (kettlebells, sleds, bags, med balls, etc.) Maybe this time we could turn it around a little for the not so bulky folk. I think some of these ideas have been tossed around the first time, but uphill walks of various types might be fun (bear walk, crab walk, wounded dog, lizard walk, alliagator crawl, etc.). Forward rolls either uphill or downhill are another option, as are uphill broadjumps, lunge walking, etc.

On a slightly different line of thought, we could have people partner up for teams. This would allow for wheelbarrows, fireman's carry, two-man rolls, etc. There's also that two-man push-up that was featured on that Norwegian site recently referenced that looks fairly cool.

Tossing out ideas,

Ryan

Wheelbarrows are a good one, but rally, you have to try the backwards bearcrawl uphill (if for no other reason, so i can tell my guys that their not alone in the misery... ummm i mean fun)

I will be coaching my last youth football game of the season, against last years champs. If I could figure out how to wake all the 9 year olds up, it should be a good game. After this my Saturdays will be free and I'm in for the pain!

Sorry, its a little far for me at this moment. Once I get things locked down here in DC, I can plan a road trip. Besides, I'm from Ohio, I know that a hill workout this time of year could be an early sledding trip.

I'll be heading down. Might bring a few other cheeseheads with me. Need me to bring any toys at all, Dave?
