I Survived Sectionals!
I attended the Deep South sectionals for Al/TN/MS and made it out alive, barely. I must say that there are some incredible athletes out there and to those who moved on i commend you. I ended up getting 37th out of 70 which i consider good since i had not been training or properly preparing for such an event. If anyone has any doubts about doing a sectional just go ahead and do it, especially if its not too big an expense. The experience and support from the crowd itself is worth it. I wish the best of luck to all who move on to their respective regionals and the games. All i can say is be watching out for me next year.

The owner of the local box I might start attending, went there and placed 10th over all. He's going to the regionals. CrossFit 27:17 (WFS) Michael |

![]() I'd love to start working out up there. It's only about 10 minutes from the house too. Perfect spot (for myself). Michael |

70 competitors? The SoCal sectional had 180. Was yours set up the same way for qualifying, with the top 20 men and top 20 women advancing?
