I was trying to find a good website on training for the Highland Games. I saw the recommendation in the Crossfit journal on "Community" but haven't been able to find Kip Miller's site. I'd just like to have something to train for, and I do own two kilts.

I don't know if this has Kip Millers site but here are a couple of good pages I found. I started looking after reading Coach Dan Johns "From the Ground Up".

Main thing: find a game, and do it. Ask questions. HG guys are cool. Bring a chair, sunscreen, and a towel. Hat's are good too. Some sort of glove for your dominant hand is a good idea too, or tape.

It must be OK to suck, because they keep letting me in. I'm just coasting till I hit Masters next year.

Kip makes his home here:

at the "House of Hurt". All who wish to discuss anything in the world of HG or any other type of throwing for that fact are welcome.
