mounting rig uprights in concrete

Just a quick question. With a wall mounted rig, how deep should the anchors be for the uprights in concrete? Is 2 1/4" sleeved anchors good enough or do I need 3"?

Hey Cody,

We recommend minimum 3" embedment with a 1/2" Wedge Anchor for attaching our rig uprights into the floor. If you are mounting into a masonry wall, sleeve anchors are a better choice as the sleeve expands behind the block better than the wedge.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. I wall braces are going into a 2x12 header, just was wondering if I needed the 3" anchors into the floor. Thanks very much
