2 weeks off : reset, repeat or add more weight?

Hello,

I've been out of town for work and haven't lifted heavy in over two weeks. I did some of the usual hotel stuff: treadmill, bike, occasional lame exercise machine, but nothing heavy or serious.

Getting back into my SS groove, and my question is should I reset to lower weight, repeat my last workout or forge ahead and add more weight?

I obviously want to avoid injury without wasting time, and curious what others have done.

Thanks,

Joe

If you are really deep in the cycle and things are getting really tough, I'd either reset when I get back or repeat my last week.

If you are early on in the cycle, I'd probably just start back where I left off.

Yeah ... how far into the progression are you? If you're new to lifting then a small reset (a week's worth of SS) might be good just to get the body back to moving weight again. If you're more experienced then you should know your body and challenge yourself ....

Re: 2 weeks off : reset, repeat or add more weight?

Thanks Guys,

That's all that I needed to read. I'm a few month in and things are tough every week. I guess a small reset is in order.

Thanks again,

Joe
