Model C Concept 2 Rower

Hey guys,

Had the option to buy a rower for $220. Is that a good deal? The damper handle is broken off, but it still functions completely. Comes with a monitor. Other than that, it looks like it's in good condition. Am I wasting my time?

How old is it? Was it used in a commercial environment, or is it from a residence i.e. how heavily was it used?

It's just in this guy's garage. He said it's in good shape except for a couple of dings. Saw some pics, just a little dusty.

From your discription it sounds like a score to me, though I would still try and talk him down

Yeah, I tried to get it for $180, but he's smarter than that, bummer. But it has everything I'd need, plus it can be one we can move around for bootcamp, so I'll go for it if he takes the $.

Re: Model C Concept 2 Rower

Can the damper handle be fixed? More importantly, can you change the damper setting in the state it's in now? If the answer is no to both of those questions, you might wanna pass. But hey, if the answer is yes to either of those ?s, that's a major steal.

Re: Model C Concept 2 Rower

Why can't someone be trying to sale one in Utah. I would take it for sure as long as damper can still be adjusted.

Re: Model C Concept 2 Rower

Can anyone tell me if a Concept II Rower Model C is sufficient?

I can score it for $70 assuming I get a call back from the guy.

It is supposedly in good working order.

Justin, Model C is WAY sufficient...it's what I use...it's even what I used in college on the crew team. If it's in good condition...$70 is a total steal!! For a good reference on pricing...check out the conceptII.com home page...you can even order parts for your model C.

Re: Model C Concept 2 Rower

Justin,

If you're the guy who beat me by 5 minutes contacting the guy with the rower from Clist in Cerritos, then, yes, the Concept 2 Model C is crap and you should pass.

No, it's a great deal as long as it's in working order. I can't believe someone beat me to it.

Well, I'm glad it was to someone in Crossfit.

Good luck and tell me how it is.

Martin
