My girlfriend Jodi recently hit a nice squat PR and I'm quite proud, so I wanted to brag for her ... at a body weight of 110, she hit a deep and easy 130x5! She's aiming for 135x5 during the next session, which will be a HUGE milestone!
She's been training for about 6 months using a combination of 5x5 and Crossfit. And that 6 months includes some time off from squats/deads due to a minor hip problem.
And ... I got a 2 rep PR with 31 chinups on Tuesday. Full extension on these too - I've been working on my shoulder mobility/flexibility with these and it's paying off.
