Interest in a Minneapolis CrossFit?

I'm looking at starting a small private CrossFit gym in Minneapolis. Not sure exactly where but probably within a few miles of downtown. 700 - 1000 sq ft.

I'm not sure how many people doing CrossFit there are around here. I know there are a couple of CrossFit gyms out in the suburbs but I'm sure like me most people who live in the city don't want to drive out that far.

Actually quite a few people travel out to API in Brooklyn Center which next door to MMAA. More than likely you will see some profighters doing their fight training and conditioning under the same roof. Shawn Sherk, Nate Thompson, Kaitlin Young to name a few.

According to the main site there is one in Eden Prairie http://www.crossfitmn.blogspot.com/

If there was something downtown, rather than out in the burbs that I could go to after work or before I would be interested in it for sure, sould would my wife, and so would at least 3 other people I know

Currently thinking about just north of downtown, but not actually within the downtown zone.

Just for the record.

Crossfit Twin Cities has a gym in Maple Grove and also one in Delano. It has stuck in my mind for the last 3 months that I passed a CF gym on my way out west on Highway 12 and I definitely wasn't in Maple Grove or Eden Prairie. That explains it.

I'd love to see a CF gym somewhere on this side of the river, but perhaps the better money is over there, especially somewhere near downtown if someone can find a facility that won't cost them all four appendages.

Maple Grove and Delano....Eden P but nothing in MSP? IF there is a personal trainer out there looking to make money I am quite sure you won't go wrong with a CF gym downtown. Based on the number of college kids and young professionals you would be all set.
