Why crossfit is best for couples!

I just wrote this article on my new site for couples, called DINKlife.com

It talks about why crossfit is the best workout for couples, I'd love to have your feedback on it!

Re: Why crossfit is best for couples!

"This means that women can do traditional workouts that are usually thought of as 'man' workouts. Like deadlifts and presses with the bar. On the other hand, men can do pushups and pull ups and make them harder by using extra weight."

Okay.

Patronizing would be an understatement here.

What happens when the woman is lifting more than the man?

Or when she can do more pullups?

"Healthy competition is good to have with your partner. Since Crossfit is always timed, you are performing each workout for time to get better and better. You and your mate can compete with each other to see who gets better over time, or who can 'win' on certain workouts."

This is the main reason why I tell couples NOT to train together, and why I never train with my husband.

"Crossfit is great for toning"

Don't even want to go there...

"Crossfit is great for toning"

What the heck is this 'Toning' thing? Is it like a tuning fork or something?

It's something people who don't yet do CrossFit want and recognize... I never use the word (along with the C word... I hate that word.) But when newbies say they want it, I say CF can deliver it.

You have to know who your customer is.

For people that aren't familiar w/CrossFit, I think the article will make them want to give it a shot.

Sure, but what brings them in the door? You mean to tell me you never used that word in the past Tamara?
