Just wanted to share something. Although I have been following Crossfit for some time, and have "worked-out" in the past, exactly five months ago, I committed to a serious Crossfit-based training program. I have kept a log of every workout, including comments about how I felt afterward. What I wanted to share was my first entry in its entirety.
5-13 - Baseline 20 minutes on treadmill 4.0mph/0 slant bench press 95x10, 135x4, 155 miss back squat 95x8 - gasping for air pulldown 90x12, 110x4 military press 45x4 Comments: Way out of breath, feel like puking, legs wobbly. 10-13 Well, you can look at my WOD posts under "Ambient". Most, while slow, are "as prescribed". Suffice to say that although I still have a long way to go, I am stronger, faster, leaner and in better shape than I have ever been. The only thing that hasn't changed is the puking. Thanks to Coach and all the Crossfit regulars for guidance and inspiration. |
