This probably fits more in pukie's bucket, but since that's closed...
Anyone else ever use CrossFit as a study aid? Not so much the workouts themselves, but 'greasing the groove'? Right now, I'm in third year computer engineering, and pumping out a few HSPUs or L-sits definitely wakes me up pretty good (not to mention a bit of a head rush with the HSPUs) :-) I still need my coffee in the morning though.. don't think any amount of crossfit could help me there |

I know what you mean David. CF definately helps in waking you up when you are starting to drag you're arse. Back in the day, I would do basic pushups in college just to help me maintain my focus at night when I am studying. I still do it now from time to time at my desk at work during the day. That's about it though, my boss would not like to see me do box jumps off and on my desk.
Good luck with your remaining time in college. The computer field is a blast, I'm an IT systems support engineer in general but right now I test and troubleshoot sotware and their subsequent applications. |

as a fellow 3rd year CompE student who is *holds fingers close together* this close to switching to some kind of computer art major, nothing works quite like handstands on the late night lab reports when coffee doesnt seem to work anymore.
