Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

New from belgium

Hi guys i'm jeroen i'm almost 20 years old my weigth is 202.8lbs and i'm 6.2 ft tall
i do fitness for over 4 years along with competition swimming
i just recently discovered Crossfit trough the NavySEALs.com site
i'll be starting with crossfit in 2 weeks after my exams
so from 24th of june you'll be hearing from me alot i hope

i 've read alot about crossfit but it hasn't broke trough in the belgium world
i hope i'll be able to do the most of the exercises on my own and with some help from you guys
If you have any tips i can use please tell them im willing to learn
by the way are there any other belgium guys around here

A fellow Belgian ! Hi Jeroen and welcome to Crossfit !!! I'm Belgian too and live in Brussels, been doing Crossfit for 6 months and a half now. You can definitely get a good majority of the exercises done on your own, just try to carefuly record every bit of knowledge you can from the exercise section on the main page and of course, all your questions can be answered on the message board here, but make sure to do a search thru the board first because all the same questions come up on a regular basis and you can certainly make use of the past answers.

Good luck with your exams, I'm done with them on the 16

i'm suprised to see another belgian around here
where do you do your crossfit training?
in Crossfit gym here in belgium or at local gym/home maybe?
since i'm in my exams i got plenty of "time" for reading everything here i watch most of the videos allready so i hope i'll be ready to start the "24Th"

i've just noticed that there is a seminar here in belgium in august to bad i don't have the money yet to participate
