Very Impressive. I'm not trying to be an arse, but isn't that a push jerk? From what I understand a push press is after the leg drive, you finish with a pressing of the shoulders. Your feet don't leave the start position and your legs are straight.

yes, that is a push jerk in the video. still very impressive for a 16 y/o.

Thanks Steven. He's been working his butt off since Dec. 09 to get ready for the Europa Show of Champions APF Powerlifting meet in Orlando, Fl. April 17th.

His goal is to squat 500, bench 305-315 and deadlift 520-530 in the RAW 16-17 yr. old 198 lb class. Currently he's squatting 480, benching 305 and deadlifting 515. This should be doable for him. He's been practing pause squats with 390 lbs. for 3-4 sec. holds at the bottom and making it look easy. We'll post pic's. and video after the meet.
