Re: sandbags

I know Iron Mind sells the bags and liners as a set.

Re: sandbags

I put together my sandbag with a canvas duffel bag and 6mil plastic bags. Based off this article by Ross Enamait : wfs
http://www.rosstraining.com/sandbagconstructionkit.pdf

Duffel - $20 - $25
plastic bags - $15 for 100.
Duct tape - cheap.
sand - ? I already had some.

Adjustable and fairly cheap.

Re: sandbags

I have the Ironmind sandbag kit an like it. I also made a fixed weight bag with two 60 lb. tube sand bags from Home Depot that I stuffed inside a contractor garbage bag and secured them with gorilla tape. I've had it for about 4 years now and it's held up well.

Re: sandbags

Contact Mike Stehle at Crossfit Jersey Shore for homemade sandbags out of truck tire inner tubes. I made 2 of them and they work great. Tubes are free, 50lbs of sand $3-4, clamps $2-3, duct tape ?. That's it.
