300 w/o has become "easy"

My first real metcon w/o was the 300 w/o. I did it before I did any of the CF wod's. I finished in about 28 mins and it was stupid hard.

Fast forward to today. I've been averaging about 2 metcon wod's a week along with some of the ME wod's and some of my own bodybuilding (hypertrophy) specific training thrown in. I've been training like this for about 2-3 months.

So I did the 300 w/o today and it felt relatively easy. I finished in 19:09. It's still a decent metcon w/o, but man it's nothing compared to some of the metcon w/o's like Linda or even Angie.

congrats! When people ask me about the "300 workout" I like to talk about the "400" or "500" workouts (Angie and filthy fifty)

Re: 300 w/o has become "easy"

The 300 workout was my first introduction also. My first attempt took me over an hour and couldn't even finish the last set of pullups. I the learned about Crossfit and began doing a lot of the WOD's. In about 6 months I went from a size 38 in. waist to a 30 in waist and I can do the, now famous, "300" workout in 15 min 16 seconds. I have since then started doing the 300 every now and then just for fun with either a 20 lb vest on or I use 225 for the deads and floor wipers and a 52 lb KB or the clean and presses. Crossfit has changed my entire thoughts on fitness.
