Thanks Ladies... I hate to blow the whistle of myself, but the photo was taken on a hill, so I really didn't jump that high. The photographer is the master of illusions LOL.



Okay... so I'm really excited about Fit Chicks' Challenge. I think its going to be really motivating for all of us.... My goal (which I know is aggressive) is to complete Level II in 6 months. Got to shoot for the moon and hope to catch a star, right?

So far I have completed the following benchmarks on Level II.
100 free squats - the new goal is to do them in less than a minute. Is that even possible???
BW squat - BW for me is 125 lbs. My max rep ATG is 165 lbs the new goal 200 lbs
1.5 x bw DL - 190 lbs (rounded) for me... I can do that in my sleep. New goal is 250 lbs
0.5 x bw Military Press - 65 lbs for me... new goal 85 lbs

I think the things on the list that are going to give me the most challenge are the running... 7 minute mile... yeah right. I can currently do a 9 minute mile.

In unrelated news: I cut all my hair off today!!!! The story to come later.

AM: Fitness Test Baseline
Today I decided to get some more baselines from the list to see where I am an what milestone goals I need to set.

Power Clean
Benchmark: 0.75 x bw
45/10
65/5
75/5
*then just didn't feel like doing them anymore. I was in a carpeted gym and it didn't feel right. Will try again when I get back to my gym.

Knees-to-Elbows
Benchmark: 15
Today I did exactly 15. LOL... New goal is to get 30

Push-ups (military)
Benchmark: 30
I got 30 and believe me I had to fight for the last one. The new goal is 60.. why not? LOL

V-ups
Benchmark: 30
These stupid things are hard when trying to keep perfect form. Maxed at 20.

Dips
Benchmark: 20
I was able to do 12 with perfect form... couldn't make the 13th.

400m Run
Benchmark: 1:34
I am sooooooooooooo mad. I did it in 1:35, BUT it was on a treadmill so it took time to get up to speed. BUT... for it to count I have to do it right. DUH. Will try again next week.

I can't believe you did this 400 in 1:35! It seems insanely fast! Nice job
And with this speed your 7' mile is in your pocket. Keep going!

When I'm thinking that people like you do these level 2 stuff, I even feel a little bit better about me barely able to complete level 1
