I just thought I would throw this one up under the testemonials section because I am so thrilled with my progress.
Today I decided to sub the 3x7 back squat WOD with a metcon since I did 3x5, 4x3 front squats yesterday. I was sifting through my notebook debating on various named WOD's we've done over the last several months and I stumbled across the KB Swing/Pullup WOD we did back in May (not sure if it has a name):
1 1/2 pood KB swing
In May of this year I scaled to the following:
21-18-15-12-9-6-3 35# KB swings
10-10-10-10-9-6-3 assisted pullups with 120# assist
Time: roughly 21:00
Today I scaled as follows:
40# DB swings
Assisted pullups at 110 assist
This is an increase of 5 pounds on the swings, 10 pounds on the PU's, and 26 more reps on the PU's all while shaving over 6 minutes off my time!!!
I needed to see this progress today, it helped my spirit a great deal. I'm celebrating my newfound path to glory with the purchasing of my first CF paraphernalia and a couple of hours of basketball after work :-P
I'm far from a CF monster but I am definitely a CF believer!
