Apologies if this has been covered recently but a search brought up too much extraneous stuff.

What's the best medicine ball for the wall throws? I need to get a 20lb ball and I see we have both D-Ball and Dynamax listed as equipment suppliers. I'm planning to rebound it off my wall but will attach a sheet of plywood on top of the plasterboard to avoid going through the wall. I would imagine a softer ball would be a little easier on the wall?

Either would work, but i personally would go for the Dynamax if i had to pick, easier on the fingers,(there the big "soft" 14" balls you see in the videos) or face for that matter if you miss a catch.

However you can use a D-ball (solid rubber, smaller diameter)for ball slams as well as wall ball.-Dynamax are not built for slamming.
So it depends if you want.

Sorry probally didn't help much.

I'd buy a Dynamax 20lb ball for wall ball and make a 20lb ball with a basketball and sand for slamball.

Search for Pierre Auge's pdf file on making a slamball. They work great!
