Re: Rope Climb

Rogue Fitness makes a good 6 foot rope that you could hang from a pull up bar or a mount in your apartment, you can't use your feet obviously. Just start from a sitting position. This is what I do in my garage gym. Or you could take it to a park and hang it on some playground bars.

Ah thanks anyway but I really need to practice climbing utilizing my legs.

I'll just use the tree method and hope I don't get in trouble for it. If anyone else has any good ideas feel free to chime in.

Does anyone know what the Crossfit gym membership price averages to per month?

Re: Rope Climb

Probably $100-150/month.

Find a football field goal at a high school or college. Go on the weekends.

Why not try towel pull-ups?

Brent,

In the apartments I live in, we have steps leading up to 2nd and above floors that are open between steps (if you dropped your keys, you might have to walk back down to the ground floor if you get what I'm saying).

I plan to buy a 20 ft rope from Rogue with the eyelet already in it. I'm going to secure it around a step near the railing on the 2nd floor and climb the rope from the base of the stairwell. Hope that makes sense. If it doesn't, lemme know and I'll snap a pic.
