HPC form check!

Here is the first round of the 3 rounds, HPC, burpee WOD.

Please critique away.

I know my first pull off the ground is crappy, because I wasn't paying attention, I was too preoccupied with the HPCs that were about to happen.
My first 2 burpees suck as well.

Thanks!

Yeah, that initial pull was pretty crass. I have to watch, doing stuff like that is how I get hurt. A side view would have been better but I guess the only thing I might have seen is those knees balancing the weight more than the rest of you. May have been how it looked at that view though.

+1 for side view or diagonal from the front. It does look like you're catching it too far forward, land with your whole foot instead of with your weight on your toes.

What do you mean be that?

I noticed that because by the end of the wod, my calves and feet were very tired. What can I do to avoid that?

Re: HPC form check!

Not bad, just a couple of little things; set your hips back more when you receive the bar and for a power clean, pull your elbows higher. This will keep your bar path more vertical (closer to your body) and help you to get your elbows turned over faster.
