Hiring a cleaning crew

I'm currently in a 1300sq ft. gym. I have the cleaning company come in on Wednesday between the morning and afternoon schedule and on Saturday after open gym.

I'm moving to a 10,000sq ft. gym and I think that I'm going to need a bit more than that.

How do you all determine how to schedule your cleaning crews and how often?

Thanks,

Re: Hiring a cleaning crew

You could have a crew come and do a thorough cleaning weekly, then trade some members 1 hour of cleaning for classes.

They come in for an hour and wipe down equipment, straighten the bathroom, vacuum or mop. In return they train for free.

Or you could pay someone to just clean daily. Minimum wage, 8 hours a day, whenever you're not holding classes type of situation.

Re: Hiring a cleaning crew

I think daily cleaning is the way to go - but you might not need crew for that (maybe have a full crew do a deep clean every weekend and the rest of the days have someone do an hour or 2 like Brian said. If you wanted to trade cleaning for memberships I would think you would want more than 1 hour a week in trade, probably more like 4 or 5 (ie 1 hour a day M-F) which would cover your non crew cleaning.
