How to set up kids area/day care

So I have a 2,300 sqft wide open box. We want to provide child care while moms attend classes. Was wondering how other people set up safe kid friendly area in this situation?

Any dos or do nots would be helpful.

Re: How to set up kids area/day care

We were fortunate to have a room already available far from our main floor. A door is a must, we're about to replace it with a half door. We have part of the room that has a window. Not a necessity, but nice to be able to see inside.
We had a bunch of members bring toys. And I bought a 17in TV/DVD player and attached to the wall.

IMO, you need to make sure the parents know they are responsible to keep it clean after their kids play in there. A few times it wasn't done, and we throw all the toys into garbage cans and the kids cannot use it. They'll learn.

don't you need legal licences to allow for this kind of thing? or would a disclaimer suffice?

Re: How to set up kids area/day care

We do not provide "day care", which is different.

Although we do have additional insurance coverage for the kids area. There is not adult supervision paid for by us. In the end, the adult is responsible for their child.

It is also on our waiver.

We've done exactly what Brian has done. It's not child care , just a safe area for them to hang out while parents WOD. We are cf kids certified is the only difference. In terms of insurance the cf kids insurance covers us for a few extra things.
