Complete as many rounds as possible 20 minutes of:
95 pound Thruster, 5 reps
95 pound Hang Powercleans, 7 reps
95 pound Sumo Deadlift High-pull, 10 reps

8 rounds at 85#, + 3 thrusters

Never having done these and feeling the pain from yesterday, I opted for form work.

Things have been going really well. Cory has taken a little time off to get his shoulder feeling better. Nik and I did MUs today (mine were jumping). Not timed, as mine were practice, and Nik is recovering from an injury.

Bryan and I decided to take a couple progress pictures.

Sunday 091004
21-18-15-12-9-6 and 3 rep rounds of:
Power clean 95 pounds
Sit-ups
Back extensions

Made it down to 12 reps on all, 9 on cleans and 3 of situps.
My lower back was spasming so bad, I felt it prudent to stop to avoid an injury. Taught me that I have some work to do on the Back Ext.

Monday 100609

I am not able to do the muscle ups YET. I did much needed stretching for the Back Extensions damage to my body the day prior. I did 40 Pull ups and 40 dips. Also did some hanging on the rings ans some MU progressions for form work.

Light day averall.

Row 250 meters
Sumo deadlift highpull 95 pounds, 21 reps
Pull-ups 15 reps

Compare to 040525.

Don't have a row machine, so I did 200m sprints
SDHP 65#/21rep
15 jump PU
15 minutes.

4 rnds + 50m

Run 5 K

Surprise, 54 degrees out today!

I ran the full 5k for the first time is 2 years. 0:32.24 without stopping or walking. I barely made it through 2 miles a month ago. Go Crossfit!
