I believe it's pretty much been covered, keep him moving, kick the legs off him. In all honesty all he has going for him is his size, so if you can keep active and frustrate him then he's going to get tired quick.

Personally I would train for the long haul, using well placed strikes and good cage control to always be the one who is seen as the agressor, even if you are moving backwards a little bit.

Anyway! Best of luck fella, make him remember you!

I think Bob Sapp was the muse for one of my favorite sayings, "Looks like Tarzan, fights like Jane." (No offense to Jane).

Of course, I'm somewhat kidding. He is surely a very strong man. I would take the advice of the others that have already posted. Kick, cover, and move-plus a few, well-timed punches.

Bobby - lol!!!!!!

Bob is a serious opponent - he's taken Hoost out twice with his power, and that creates someone that must be treated with respect.

And when you only weigh 100kg, that 60kg difference is more than just a bit! Trust me as well, Bob's a much better fighter than most seem to give him credit for.

The way I see it, if I make a mistake, I won't know about it lol! If I do the strategy we have planned, and can stick to it...it will be a great win!

But I'm training my off - Bob IS a tough opponent!!!

Thanks for the kind words and PM's too!

Best regards,

Smiler

Gary: My daddy always said: Get the right tool for the job. I think a .44 mag should do it.
I have seen some video of Sapp fighting. It looked like Hoost rocked him a few times w/shot to his monster head. All those years w/helmet, maybe he has a weak chin? I wish I could offer more than good luck.

here's my favorite bob sap fight video. It depends where you work and how you raise your kids but it's two guys fighting so you can decide for yourself if it's safe.
