My first Unassisted Pull up

Hi guys,

I have been doing Crossfit now since February this year and am a huge "fan", I love the way I just keep getting better and getting muscles that show! And I love the fact I can now pick up heavy stuff, like 250lbs of stuff!

Anyway yesterday I did my first completely unassisted pullup - unfortunately it wasn't part of a work out but. . . I was walking under some scaffolding and there was a perfectly positioned bar, I jumped and did a pull up! That was followed by a second and nearly a third!

Anyway, the point I am getting to in my usual round about way is that I never realized just how little "overhead" strength I had until I started CF. I had spent a couple of years before CF concentrating on the military standby of pushups and situps and running and thought I was doing okay.

CF changed all that, still scaling a lot of workouts but less and less every month and recommending it to anyone who will listen!

That's awesome buddy. Now that you can do one or two, no more assistance on those! Do one or two at a time if you have to. I promise you'll get stronger and be able to bust out 15 or 20 in no time.
